|Filter Installation Guidelines:
|The Blower/Filter housing is designed to accommodate a variety of filter types which should be arranged accordingly: Pre-filters should be installed first, gasket side down. Activated carbon filters or other chemical absorbing or HEPA filters should be installed next, gasket side down. The filter installation/replacement history should be maintained using the card supplied in the clear pouch on the side of the blower. Tighten down both sides of the compression bar evenly with the wingnuts until the bar bends upward approximately 1/4 inch in the middle. Once the unit is plugged into a properly grounded receptacle, turn the knob clockwise to activate the blower.
|Turn off the blower and remove the line cord before replacing filters or cleaning the system. Wear OSHA approved gloves, safety glasses, and filtered breathing mask during the maintenance procedures. Used filters should be placed in appropriate containers for disposal in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
|There are no user serviceable parts inside the blower unit housing. The filters should be checked for system performance and replaced on a regular basis. The surfaces of the enclosure can be cleaned with a solution of mild soapy water using a damp cloth or Windex™ type glass cleaner
